Still from Sonata - photo by Mustafa Boga
Cast: Anne Zander and Alistair Donegan, DoP: Holly Cocker, Sound: Adam Asnan, Writer: Anne ZanderThis month I directed a short film called Sonata which was conceived and developed by Anne Zander and I. We shot the one scene in my living room with our 5Ds and Adam’s incredible sound equipment, it was liberating to shoot an idea with such a simple set up and no budget. Waiting now to find the time to sync and edit it - it seems all you need is time to get an idea to paper and then to screen.
Was lucky enough to photograph Erwin whilst filming an interview with him for a 3D: Darkly Digital and Devine, a new film by Robert Adanto which is going to be fantastic!

Lexi lives with her Mum, step Dad, little brother Richard and her autistic five year old sister Ashlynn. They are an absolutely wonderful family, so full of love for each other. Lexi is an amazing 10 year old who spends a lot of her time helping care for Ashlynn and is a real inspiration. You can see more of Lexi’s story in my film early next year.

If you see one documentary this year, it's got to be this...
Today I tried to use my eyes to zoom into an object…I clearly have been attached to a camera for an unhealthy amount of time! I’m back in London and tomorrow I start the rather exciting process of post production. I literally can’t wait to start piecing the film together into a proper story. I’m going to be spending the next three weeks editing my film with editor Ruth Horner at Halo Post in Soho.
Here’s a photo taken in Kansas on the elementary school bus. More to come from this series…
