During my time in the States I was completely immersed in American life. The Day family, who I was filming, took me to their daughter Molly’s volleyball tournament which was so much fun - I found myself getting far too involved in the game and really rooting for Molly’s team to win… I found the atmosphere to be quite different to any school match I’d been to in the UK. Not only was it a lot more tense, but the girls were much more supportive of each other when the game wasn’t going too well.
